Stainless Steel - Hell On Earth

Nobody really knew where he came from,
No-one had ever seen him before.
He was young and full of life and there was magic in his eyes.
He was heaven sent they were sure.
And he told them of a new magical, mystical world
And of wealth and glory he could bring.
He promised them a new life in a paradise on earth
And so he was appointed king.

He brought them thirteen years full of fright,
Without hope, without light
Thirteen years misery on Earth.
Thirteen hungry years full of pain and tears,
Thirteen years the hell on Earth.

They all had been poor and simple people.
Full of joy and full of pride.
They had been sharing everything of what they had got,
Too little to live, too much to die.
Now they'd lost their independence 'cos he'd enslaved everyone.
He'd got them under his spell.
He let them bleed just for fun and there was no way out.
They were prisoners of his will.

He brought them thirteen years full of fright,
Without hope, without light
Thirteen years misery on Earth.
Thirteen hungry years full of pain and tears,
Thirteen years the hell on Earth.

Thirteen hard years of suppression,
Thirteen long years of exploitation,
Thirteen tough years of injustice,
So many cried, so many died.
