Goody Grace - Soliloquy

Woke up missing sunsets from a time when things felt right
I looked up from my phone and found they happen every night
I heard everything ahead of me is what it's supposed to be
But I can't sit and wait any longer to see

I don't know if I'll find home, or ever believe in god
But I've found lots of lonely people on this road I'm on
So if you feel as if you have no mouth but you must scream
Just know that's me in waking life and all my dreams

Cause I tell truth into the mirror I'd never say in conversation
Cause all my hesitation always stops my tired tongue
And I believe that I'll find peace with what I see in my reflection
But I don't know which direction to start

Sometimes I get overwhelmed, wish I could disappear
So if you feel as if you have no mouth but you must scream
