Centuries at his side,
Death of my master, death of my brother,
Holder of the key,
Keeper of the relics,
His final words exalting me

“We will fight and win, or fight and die”,
This grim reality we face,
All that ever changes is the shade of the sky,
And the colour of the blood on our blades

Gathered, bearing witness to my rise,
Silent doubt echoes through the chamber

“Let that be the last blow you receive unanswered”
Blood seeps onto my tongue and I suppress my rage
Returning to my feet, christened as the Reclusiarch
Holder of the key, keeper of the relics
Wearer of the black, born to slay
