To Let Go...



"Vanity of vanities, saith the Preacher,
vanity of vanities; all is vanity.
What profit hath a man of all his labour
which he taketh under the sun?
All things are full of labour;
man cannot utter it: the eye is not satisfied
with seeing, nor the ear filled with hearing.
The thing that hath been, it is that which shall be;
and that which is done is that which shall be done:
and there is no new thing under the sun."
(Ecclesiastes 1:2-3, 8-9)

As I try to move on, I try to let go
In my sleep it still haunts, on me it takes hold
As I cry in my dreams I wake in my tears
In depression I feel no one knows I'm here

Holy Spirit, here am I
In this darkness shine your light
My mind off me, is now on Christ
In him I believe

As my eyes are flowing I trust you tonight
Speak, for I want to hear of the things of Christ
Perfect me in your love and cast out my fear
To Your Spirit I yield, to the cross I draw near
Transform me with your word and renew my mind
I turn to you now and repent of my pride

Holy Spirit, here am I
