AC/DC

Australijski zespół hardrockowy założony w Sydney w 1973 roku przez braci Angusa i Malcolma Young. Zespół jest uznawany za pioniera muzyki hardrockowej i heavymetalowej wraz z grupami Black Sabbath i Led Zeppelin. Członkowie zespołu zawsze klasyfikowali swoją muzykę jako rock & roll. Formacja parokrotnie zmieniała skład przed wydaniem swojego pierwszego albumu, High Voltage w 1975 roku. Skład grupy stał się bardziej ustabilizowany od 1977 roku po przyjęciu do zespołu basisty Cliffa Williamsa, który zastąpił Marka Evansa. W 1979 roku zespół nagrał jeden ze swoich najpopularniejszych albumów Highway To Hell. Był to jednocześnie ostatni nagrany album z wokalistą i współautorem utworów Bonem Scottem, zmarłym 19.02.1980 roku po nocy spędzonej na intensywnym piciu alkoholu. Członkowie zespołu zastanawiali się nad rozwiązaniem grupy, jednak podjęli decyzję o kontynuowaniu działalności muzycznej i wybrali Briana Johnsona na następcę Scotta. W tym samym roku zespół nagrał swój najlepiej sprzedający się album Back In Black. Wydany rok później album For Those About To Rock We Salute You również osiągnął duży sukces i stał się pierwszym albumem zespołu, który osiągnął pozycję # 1 na krajowym zestawieniu w Stanach Zjednoczonych. W 1983 roku AC/DC zwolniło wieloletniego perkusistę Phila Rudda i wybrało na jego miejsce Simona Wrighta. W latach osiemdziesiątych spadła popularność grupy, lecz płyty zespołu stale plasowały się w czołowej 40-stce albumów w USA. W roku 1990 popularność grupy znów wzrosła wraz z albumem The Razor's Edge, który dotarł na drugą pozycję w USA. Phil Rudd powrócił do zespołu w roku 1994 i od tego czasu skład grupy pozostał niezmieniony. Do dzisiaj formacja sprzedała ponad 200 milionów albumów na całym świecie, wliczając w to ponad 69 milionów w samych Stanach Zjednoczonych. Album Back In Black został sprzedany w ponad 42 milionach kopii, w tym ponad 22 miliony w USA, dzięki czemu jest drugim najlepiej sprzedającym się albumem w historii oraz najlepiej sprzedającym się albumem jakiegokolwiek zespołu. AC/DC jest sklasyfikowane na czwartej pozycji listy na 100 Najlepszych Artystów Hard Rocka sporządzonej przez VH1 oraz na siódmej pozycji listy MTV na Najlepsze Zespoły Metalowe Wszechczasów.

@jczopek36: perkusista ACD/DC nadaje groove całości i zawsze podkreśla akcenty w utworze. Granie z akcentami w synkopach przy jednoczesnym utrzymaniu równego rytmu to nie jest prymitywne bębnienie.

Albo "Let there be rock i "Dog eat dog".

Jak te byki to robią,że po kilku prostych riffach wiesz,że to ACDC?
Charakterystyczni do bólu ale potrafię zanucić mnóstwo utworów.
Na przykład "Down payment blues":

Konsekwentnie uważam, że AC/DC to ekipa z naprawdę porządnym gitarzystą (Angusem) i jednocześnie fatalnym perkusistą wysiadającym przy czymkolwiek innym niż prymitywne bębnienie. Dlatego też perkusja na prawie każdym utworze jest identyczna, a same piosenki AC/DC są wtórne, kopiują same siebie i przy dłuższym słuchaniu ciężko mi przy nich wytrzymać. Rock and rollowy kicz mający swój urok. Ot nic więcej, parę płyt dobrych, większość to nudne powielanie utartych schematów. @WildWest: Ludzie w moim wieku mogą jeszcze studiować, ba - nawet w wieku 40 lat można studiować. Komentowanie zaś durnot fanatyczki AC/DC może stanowić na przykład formę relaksu po trudnym i żmudnym dniu pracy/zajęć (wybierz sobie).
PS. Poprzedni band Johnsona był o wiele lepszy, mimo bycia również badziewiem
