Myrrdin - Profane Metaphysics

As my mind beholds and steps
Amongst the cosmic bodies,
Long-forgotten "blasphemies" recur.

That the spirit shall in body
be retained 'til death,
Is to make a prison cell of life itself.

That the spirit is boundless
Was wisdom of millenia.
Inter-planetary pilgrimage
Was shamanistic practice of all eight corners.
But thin lies bind our hands now,
Unbreakable, silken words...

...That Matter is Fact.
And that all Matter is to be supressed
By the gravity of existence.

But all Matter is Fire.
The substance of the lie
holds enough energy to consume it from within.
But what care they?
They pray for Death.
