Disinter - Tower Amidst a Necropolis

The Necropolis below, It seems so real
Still bodies so familiar blister in the fields
Alone, Above--Gazing down at the deceased
Forever posed--In their acts of Sodomy

The dead below so quiescent in an orgy without breath
Eyes so long since clouded with the film that follows death
Each day to wake--To this sight of life undone
Appalling reek--Is heightened daily by the Sun

They rot without grave, Weather rips at each face
Below where the corpses embrace
Beneath the thatched roofs, Semen stagnant and vile
Encrusts a dry-rotted , stillborn child
Orifices--Pierced by cracked, shriveled tongues
I've stared through the nights and the years at this blight
Alas, I'm no longer young
I sleep in my excrement, If sleep overcomes me at all
Knowing my dreams are always the same
Aware that one day I will fall

I Long to mutilate the deceased
So, far below, So out of reach

I've witnessed those who imprisoned me
Dying in intercourse
Genitalia eroding off
Deep in the throat of a corpse
Seasons that never change
I gnaw at my flesh and derange
Damnation ever slow
The Dead can never know

Shivering I wake, In this cold tower
My naked skin, It breaks
Nooses drape the trees
In the village where the dead call for me

Voices of the dead shriek bathetic woes
Rigescent embryos crying dirges from below
They yearn for my flesh, I know the sombre price
Only my dehisced corpse will suffice
