High up into the mountains
In a secluded valley
There there was our village
Peaceful life and harmony

And they came…

And they came with their money and their greed
And they tried to make us bid
Like fools, we agreed
We should have never brought the devil’s seed

We grew ties with the merchants
And extend our influence
Until a King from a far land
Wished to take our homes

From our hands...

And they came with their envy and a army
And they tried to make us kneel
We made our last stand
Reduced to ashes by a sinful hand

And I saw the angels falling from the sky
Reaching us, caressing us, singing to us
Telling us everything is gonna be allright
As I saw a thousand demons crawling out of the ground
Taking me and my people all the way into the lungs of hell

Our greed dies as we die…
