Who Am I


I can appreciate it
You want to be different and I can see it’s so confining
Your differences seem so alike to me
Like some strange conformity

Important things Jekyll and Hyde in your
Reasoning you know I’ve known you
Godlike self-delusions
And mob mentality
And if you hope I’m losing sleep it won’t mean much to me

We achieve perfection in our parody
We’re both different but the same in desperation

So maybe I’m confused
And I might never say enough
So maybe I don’t like the way you do things
But then who am I to judge?

I know I seem a little disappointed and know
You find it so surprising
I don’t believe in your philosophies
Even though you think the proof is too large not to see

To achieve perfection should I fall in line?
Not so different but we fight about it all the time

So maybe I’m confused
And I might never say enough
So maybe I believe you’re full of anger
But then who am I to judge?

So maybe I’m a fool
To not believe in you
I’m thinking for myself
