Giving birth to all mankind

We've their face, their body
But we've lost their trust

The destruction of a species
Of everything weak

In an age when a river meant life
And people called the desert home
With monuments and temples high
Caught the eye of Rome

All faith was placed in the gods
Creators of a noble race
How can civilization fall
And face today's disgrace
