Some men they fight these wars for flag, faith and nation.
Some women they fight these wars for love, verse and labour.
Yet the devouring earth upon that fateful day.
Will spit out their bones and have its final say.

Ploughs to rust.
Swords to dust.
Thus ever to tyrants!

If these are the last hours we have on earth.
One last embrace before deaths martyred release.
From the gaols chapel at dawn I'll march to die.
The firing squad will grant to me no peace.
