We look at each other and see shadowy figures
People hiding their feelings deeper
All that we know are gestures and words
And once in a while, somethings slips and gets heard

Rooted in our upbringing and what we are taught to believe
We must reject this prejudice our forefathers conceived
Refuse to pass judgement when you don't know the whole truth
Scared of those who are different because of what's been taught since birth

Release yourself from society's reigns
And show your face for what it really is

Don't be ashamed to admit you're a racist-you're an idiotic human just like any other
It takes more balls to say how you feel instead of hiding behind a cover
Pat me on my back and pretend everything is cool
But when my back is turned your ass comes out of the closet and does the talking for you

Don't change your words and rearrange the verbs so everyone's image of you can glow
By saying how you really feel, you'll notice who's a friend or foe
Don't be ashamed to admit your crimes if you believe you were in the right
If you're not afraid to express yourself when it's dark, don't hesitate to rebel in the light
