Omens appear
Calling for our annihilation
Future unclear
What will become the answer to our prayers

Fire rains down from the sky
The stars collapse, the women cry
Deaths the decider
Of conquest and the fate of men

Releasing forth a great disease
Bringing the city to its knees
Deaths the divider
Between mankind and their gods

Blood of a conqueror,
Flows with his lust for gold
A fabled idol
Of which the legends told
Bringing a wave of destruction
From a distant land
Our gilded empire
Shall fall by his hand

Tenochitlan

Flayed skin and sacrifice
Consume their flesh to pay the price
We follow the rituals every day
Spilling blood to keep the gods at bay
Still conquered by our own deity
Reigning in death supremacy
This is a war for the survival of our tribe

God has turned his back on all of us
And death is the only escape from his wrath
