Turning pages against my will
through chapters that aim to kill.
Broken bones don't take as long to heal
as a heart pulled out and peeled.
Will the blame fall light as snow?
Or crash like hailing stones,
tearing holes right through the atmosphere?
Eight words stuck like a spear:

Burning bright and turning red
from replays in my head.
Angry eyes won't stop the smoking gun
by staring at the sun.
Do I fight after the fall with ghosts roaming the halls,
blurring the lines from ugly to beautiful?
Eight words to end it all:
