It was the town of Staunton
Where the murder did occur
On demon's night in '83
He escaped into the world

For in her chair dead as stone
Lady Higgin's life did end
The old bitch gave him candy
But the devil gave him sin

A hatchet buried through her chest
Had split her everywhere
And through the window
Sat her corpse as sirens filled the air

On foot the madam wandered

As costumes children stood and stared at this
Butchered, twisted fright
