[opening track/scene)

The cd opens with the muffled sounds of an audience 20,000 strong chanting for their hero to hit the stage. the sounds of footsteps walking down a hall, a door opens. "five minutes to show time mr. blackheart", the stagehand says. the door closes then a sinister voice says, "you’ve done well my son". a glass is thrown across the room and shatters against the wall. "leave me alone" derek screams. a low evil chuckle and derek whispering, "what have i done."

the beginning
