Born of the nightmares

Fear is the master

Dark matter of my disconnected senses
Weaves the curtain of illusions
Peel off the skin
The splintered and stained
The terror unchained

Paint the sunrise

Fear is a tightening noose around my neck
I feel paralyzed as demons dance in my sweat
Rip out the scars to see behind the surface
Layers of nothingness drift into dead space

Knock on the door
Behind where blood paints the floors
God ends here
And I can taste the fear
Rising waters
Escaping scene
