Conflicted by mind delusions, suffer through another day

Darkness descends on me, why have I fallen?
An endless pit of hate to accommodate my grief
The ground beneath my feet, a distant memory
Dragged down through the abyss, dim the lights that shine the way out.
Sever all the dreams of hope, succumb to the pain that I hold

Falling deeper, walking into despair
Drowning faster, struggling for air

Why can't I breathe? Why can't I see?

This pit of misery destroys all hopes and dreams
The hole gets deeper and all light begins to fade
The ladder to escape is split and can't be climbed

Summon all of my strength to win the battle with my own mind that has made me
A mere shadow of my former self a broken shell that is dying from disease
