Velonnic Sin - Deceit

Growling vengeful threats,
I from the vanguard fell
Into the abyssal plane,
Armor rent and destrier slain.

It was Gabriel, the Regent of Life,
Who relinquished my insurgent desires.

At the dissident conclave,
I conveyed the stratagem
To expunge the Creator's gift,
Unchaining the profundity of sin.

When Raphael to the Seventh rose,
I passed in a mantle of shade,
And coiled upon the fruitful limb,
Unnoticed by the Cherubim—
To drawl with serrated, deep venom,
And turn the trestle of piety.

From the dust of the Earth
He breathed your living soul—
Peer east toward Assyria,
But not the limbs of morality.
My twin spires press
These truths into your skin.
A sedition that exhales
In tendrilous whims.
Ebbing is your innocence,
The curtain He has sheathed—
But of me you must discern,
I'll never refute the way…
I'll appease your salacious eyes,
And remove the celestial haze.
There is something insidious
In our subtle Lord of Man—
He who proffers curiosity,
Then confines it in blasphemy.

Avenged by her impiety,
I disrobed the scabrous form,
And sneered at a woman's conceit,
