Paper Lungs - Tomorrow is now

We live in fear of a day when life we know gets thrown away
But for what it's worth it just gets worse
This is a vision i want to see
This is a fate they can't prescribe
A pain that we will always feel so deep inside
I believe in looking at life through eyes which paint the world in it's brightest light
I believe in hoping that even when the colours run we look to find what's right
With each new week a chapter gets torn from our story
That only we understand and our hearts will sure hold firmly all that we need to know
Every year another memory is ripped from our legacy
Drowning in seconds we're buried in time
The minutes pass by but at least we are alive
The hours are crushing the hope from my mind
The days form the pages of a book with no spine
