Pain and death, hate and misery
Is all I ever really see
Jesus please help me find my way
Through this human sinful decay

Through the haze I can barely see
Anything Jesus, that resembles Thee
Unholy and inhuman is the call today
Where murder and hatred is so easily obeyed

Somewhere to hide
In You I confide
In the place of the most high
The peace inside

Now the struggle between good and evil
Where wise men listen and wicked men ponder
Life's a choice and good men prosper
The deeds of the wicked should not go unpunished

Hide, if you can, from the holy Lord
Some things are so easily sworn
Your wicked fate has caught up to you
Now into the fire, to Hell with you
