Crypticus - Elaborate Funerals

Lo! I hear my funeral toll, let those bells be still forever,
Broken now my mortal shell, my enemies,
They wished me hell & here in state I'm laid to fester.
Fools! They loved me for my wealth,
My castle keep & all its splendor
One by one they came to call, they gathered in my entrance hall,
I fooled them all those vile pretenders!

How shall my bequest now be read?
My requiem how be sung?
How surprised you all must be to see my face -
The plan has worked, the trap is sprung! Avaunt, Avaunt!
From the crypt below I have emerged from death's embrace.
My experiments have brought me back from hell
To put you down there in my place -
Behold the devil's face!

Death becomes and art & you are on display
Corpses play your parts in my gruesome masquerade!
