Some think it’s a story, some think it’s a lie,
Some probably wonder, some don’t know why.

What possibility could there be that blood is flowing down from a tree?
At first a trickle and then a stream, and then a river, and now a sea.
Where did it come from? What does it mean?
Like a fountain that’s flowing free all over you, all over me,
And now I’m staring to see a world covered in blood.
