Burial sites in the darkness
A quivering to rise from below
Rancid smells waft through the surface
Something's ascending, steady and slow

Rotten flesh to rise from the realms of the dead
Better to run, unaware of this imminent threat

Towns depraved, restless, devoured by ghastly waves
Billows are crawling from battered graves
Far too late, embrace the fumes of these ghastly waves
