Rebellion
I switch of light lay down on my bed
My trembling hands are holding my head
I’m looking far away but there’s too much to pay
Still time keeps on rolling ahead.

I try to defy, deny, and disobey
I tied to confront this world, gone astray
Still in the night, when there’s no time to fight
I felt, I’m slowly loosing away.

Refr. Could I stop the big chain – reaction?
Could I change the bullet direction?
Do I have a reason to arise?
Broken string that’s lost all control
Hiding where I don’t mean at all
No rebellion’s worth of such a price.

The signs that I saw warnings I heard
I spoke and I knew, those weren’t my words
I have to agree that I just couldn’t see
Can’t move myself; still I’m pushing the world.
