Vixenta - A Mountain Afar (2011 Demo)

The wet mist drenches the still grass,
Flooding the dense wood, rejuvenating,
The renewing warmth of daylight is upon me,
Diving from an early dawn.

The tepid creek run through the woods,
Eradicating the lifeless trees from grey,
Euphoric senses float through silent breeze,
Wildlife echo through the ethereal wood.

Darkness now divides between the light,
And engulfs leaving jaded, cold embrace,
Destroying the glowing landscape,
Replaced with delicate emptiness.

Deep through the, warm, dense wood,
There lie a lonely mountain,
Where the warmth becomes piercing frost,
And the draft becomes howling winds...

The temperature dies as a winter breeze blows against my face,
And the sun hides behind the mountain,
Will i find this safe haven,
Or will this be my frozen, forgotten tomb?

The frozen land takes me as the night sets in,
Nocturnal creatures lurk the frozen abyss
And as the howling winds turn into a lonesome gust,
I'm just left as another in the night....
