i. All alone (again)

Once my life had meaning
And then like a piece of paper
Through a wash
The ink runs (words are lost) and forms nothing

ii. The past won't change

So I reach a crossroad
I have grieved, I have mourned
Time to carry on

I think of what could have been
I lost you, I'll not know
Life you'd promised me

I could turn to drugs to
Comfort me, Can I fight
Urge to leave it all

So I reach a crossroad
So enraged I fail to see
A path to carry on

When I look to the past to teach me the way
All I see is this
Madness
Can't resist
Falling
Voices from the path to retribution call me

Long ago I was peace
Was reason, was wisdom
Was all i wish i am

When i lost all i loved
My reason abandoned
This never wished to be

When I look to the skies to show me the way
All I see is this
Emptiness
Can't resist
Falling
Voices from this path to retribution calling
