Untamed Land - Glowing Shadows

In these halls, preserved in solemnness
Sands of creation take form of wholeness
The winds of destruction race across
Leaving a swirling mass of chaos

Reticent abbot descends through symmetry
To wander among the garden of infinity
Celestial rays from pyramidal altar
Cloak the form of the silent father


The highest crest of mountain tall
Points to my light, flickering dim and small
Though the gloomy night we shall ever fear
Our stars will burn forever clear

As the gleaming of the white moon
Makes the wolves to all dread immune
And though these cliffs may one day break away
This glowing darkness eternal shall stay


Shrouded brothers of the word
Enkindle the consecrated flame
Before a voice in the darkness stirred
To smother the light and destroy my name

And the night rushed forth in haste
To fill the void of the inner shrine
The cry was heard beyond the waste
I heard at last that voice was mine
