In the distance I saw him coming,
Angel or devil, started to run.
Heels clicking, calling out, Son of man,

I was the fire raping the night as your star fell from the sky.
I'm the rain cloud over the desert, that never rains,

You look thirsty, let me wet your lips.
You whet my desire, let me quench your fire.
Don't you see, I offer liberty,
Fortune , fame and vanity.
I've bottled God's country and so much more.
Together we can punch a hole in the sky,
With one slice of my dreamer's pie.
Sing for joy, son, don't be shy.
Did a little jig and slapped his thigh.
A toothless grin and winked his eye.
You could say I'm the lucky kind.
Fortune's been a friend of mine.
Quickly, boy, time's slipping away.
I'm offering you just one more time.
You show a lot of promise for such a tender youth.
I'm getting impatient and sort of confused.
I've got drugs and the finest booze.
Mountains move with a twinkle of his eye.
