Hiding from the rain that's fallin' through the frozen rainbow
They took the gold and left the king to die
A thousand footsteps in the snow, but no-one heard the laughter
Kingdoms fell before the evil eye

Guided by the stars above, they travelled in the darkness
Blazing torches showing them the way
Nights were getting longer and the shadows they grew taller
The prophet said the sun was turning grey

Hear the way the wind blows
See the lightning strike
When the heavens thunder

They could see their destination, in the black horizon
Shining like a diamond in the dark
Yesterday it used to be the city of the angels
All those evil spirits left a mark

Rising up to see the light they climbed onto the mountain
