Obsidian Mantra - Vomiting the Void

in the hours of void
when the clock freezes
the great black phantom hovers by my side
and reminds me of all that came to nothing

elusive whisper, silent threat
„I'm your solitude, blessing and your curse”
elusive whisper, freezing breath
„I'm your friend and foe, faithful for your pain”

drifting the black sky
avoid your reflection
you can recognize your worst enemy in it
drifting the black sky
don't look at the stars
unless you want them to blind you

in the hour of abandonment
when light can't reach me
I stray among paths ever the same
like a ghost listless to it's fate
