Nyseius - Finis Terra Sancta

I attended the destruction of Scion: I heard the dreadful words of the most high
I saw the jubilation of Babylon the great, riding the ten-horned and seven-headed beast
On that rock, dying men lay, making divine signs with their own hands
And near those some others trying to escape from the flames, forsook the path of their prophet

What I saw there was not the wonderful work of the high heaven but mine, a shapeless and dreadful place
The work of a tremendous, blazing and devouring fire, where there was a crack that plunged into the abyss
And the pillars of fire fight amongst them and sink in the distance, in this dark and infinite place
No man can measure his greatness and his extent, he cannot comprehend his origin

At last, I saw the lord of men himself retaliating by abandoning his temple
On this high place, thrusting up in the heavens were a bow of fire and a sword made of lightning
Powers that moved the earth dragged the sun and stars into their orbit
Spirits put to death moaned in this place of torment for there was no life in this universe anymore
