i used to be another shard in the pile
scared of emotions, scared of myself
remember those days of constant denial
no way to enter, no idea where to quit

and all of my hopes, they were oh so fake
a vicious cycle i just couldn't break
the days went by and i had no idea
of the fear, interfere, why am i even hear?

i know i can be stronger

copying people, copying style
the doubt and the conscience they got too loud
barely a loser, no trust in myself
