So lost and jaded
Living my life on the run
Long days and heartache
I was hating the man I’d become
Feeling so empty
No matter what I tried

Then you found me
Now I see
The old man in me must die

Love covers it all
Every debt has been paid on the cross where He gave it all
I was finally free on the day I received
Salvation from His majesty
His love covers it all

Going through the motions
As time kept slippin’ by
Never knowing how close my soul
Was in danger of the fire

Now your mercy
Surrounds me
Forgiven and alive

A new beginning
Cleansed by the blood of the Lamb
God made the connection
In a loving perfect plan
