I see a lion lying dead
a comb of honey in his chest
They say sweetness comes forth from the strong
But the bitterness, it flows from your tongue

I see a snail it's writhing in salt
His body an open wound for us to behold
When we were children we loved to torture
The helpless were never that virtuous

I see a jellyfish drying in the sun
Only it's skin remains when all is done
The bile in your veins flows to your head
Maybe we're all corrupted and better of dead

I see Jesus dying on his cross
Pharisees are weeping for his loss
They tried to build a temple from his corpse
But it turned out to be a Trojan horse
