Heed my words, that follow on now
To be a good athlete, or anything at all
It’s not just the body you’ll need to train
Nor the mind either,
Though it will certainly help.

It is your soul, the spirit within
Freely, moving there, inside its shell
A presence it be; sense it, feel it
Love it; nurturing the spirit
Is to flow freely in graceful, mindful harmony.

Free flowing movement
To a dancer, a martial artist
Is all the same, it truly be?
Eloquent and swift no matter, which
It is to be one, with your very own soul.

Though, the mind and body
Must be, efficiently trained
It is to the free spirit, the real you
You’ll need to conquer, to be ahead of the game
And to be a true master of all.

This is the true gift bestowed up us all
Sense it, feel it, love it
Treasure the real you, within your once empty shell
For your true vocation is not of the body
But of you, the free-flowing spirit within.

Be better than efficient is what you must be
Train harder than hard, in order to win
To loving master you, the spirit within
To become master of all
And the spiritual essence - you!
