Try not to hold me

for I can see now
the abyss that awaits me

I enter the gates of night

the curse that haunts me

The flames that devour my soul
shall now be soothed
yet their light shall ever burn
a golden torch for the dark to come

Arisen from dead temples
beyond the sight of man
the choirs of lamentation in my ears
I march towards my doom

The mist that chokes me
shall now be blown away
yet its veil shall ever remain
the drape to clad my soul

There is peace now in me
and the existence yonder

And I die from life finally...
and I live in death forever...
There is naught now between me
and the great darkness
