Ichneutic - Furious Horde

Dark laments rise on shrill winds and dark thunder rises in the canopy of the old wood.
I know what comes and wait for my time to take my place in the furious horde.
Black dogs barks fill the air from all around,
and fury fills my eyes as the wood comes alive in the darkness.
Spectral fog drifts through the trees as the hooves of galloping steeds echo through my mind.
The hounds break free as I face them - tearing their way on their phantom path,
horns and pipes sound the coming of the hunt,
all is a frenzy as banners brush through the tree tops and the dread lords race through in their ghastly procession.
Under the shadow - against the light they come to cleanse the life from the land.

And through it all, through the frenzied screams and black dog howls,
through the freezing air and thunder steeds,
I take my place within the hunt,
for I have waited for my time and the furious horde will ride once more...
