Softly Sleeping
No longer dreaming.
The view is hopeless
Confined to darkness

In this winter
A glowing cinder.
It's small and cold,
but it's what I've been searching for.

My voyage starting,
the boat departing.
No ceremony,
confused and lonely.
But never doubting
we're better parting
I can see that it's over now,
this feeling of complete devotion.

Left a hole in my heart, though I wish you the best
for I have to move on with my life,
away from Utopia.

I won't do this anymore.

Now we're far from the shore, but the wind is so calm
and the water's so clear and pure.
My conviction secure, a brilliant horizon ahead with no lord
but myself, a brand new Utopia.

They can try if they like to reunify,
or impose their religious might, but they're wasting their fucking time.
My vessel could run aground, consequences could chase me down,
but defences will never burn, for I've vowed to never return.
