Another burning
Monument and Kingdoms of dust
Dust

So, they stand at your grave
Has your soul yet been taken away?
So you can't read what's engraved
Is this Heaven or merely decay?
Was there a light, enchantingly bright?
A question, just how did it end?
Just let me sift through your calm remains
And tear you away from your skin

From the slab--To the casket
Was something lost--Was it ever there?
Your consecrated scars I soak in decay
Dissolving your existence
Inaudible cries that could pierce your Gods mind
Dissected in vehemence
And what of your life, Did you think it could last?
Did you really expect much more?
Thus is demise--The fools they wept
A corpse now, A corpse ever more

Alone at last my putrescent child
You suffocate beneath the Earth, Stiff and beguiled
Burning so fast, This corpse defiled
Through the gates of Serenus into ashen exile
Its withered hands madly gouge and tear at its eyes
A feeble corpse attempts to cry, Thus Is Demise
