Dimhav - Chtonic Elegy

Pale winds rend my quivering soul apart
Rage clouds the starlit canopy from afar
I scaled the summit, just to see it’s not the end
Oh - righteous flame that I’ve kindled, it gave me hope but holds no sway

This ghoulish edifice, of ancient blackened stone
Its wordless riddles haunt my blighted mind - “You will never climb the throne”
Amorphous shadows pierce and exalt my livid shell
Awakening beast within, it's granting me strength, too powerful to quell

Far from the ocean, at the temples of the old
A forgotten Chthonic Elegy illuminates my soul
Shards of my homeland slowly burning in the dark
As the whirling cinders dance and glow, to the Chthonic song, my Elegy
