of telling you how I feel

Struggle to find the words to say because its in every way
I feel this love for you.

I remember a time before you, I seem so empty then
You’re what makes me me.

I could kiss your cheek so soft and stroke your golden hair
a day worth remembering.

A love worth holding on, my love

I miss you when you’re gone, not just smiles but your tears
the whole damn package.

There’s times I’m just too much but times you want to touch
It electrifies my soul!

And now, In the mirror
I see myself, and it’s because of you
That now, I don’t turn away (I use to be afraid but now I only see hope)
And smile at who I am (Its your love that fills me with this inner hope)
