Of course, you'll all have heard the story,
But do you wonder if it's true?
The truth is stronger than fiction,
So, let me bend your ear with some facts
Almost 600 years ago there lived a warrior -
His aim was sick destruction on his enemies of war.
The called him the impaler, Vlad, Dracula of death!
He met his end in Snagov,
But will never lie at rest.

This gothic enterprise,
With the count who never dies;
The fiction or the fact
Just keeps you coming back,
Hypnotized within it's spell.
The tale that I must tell,
It's pure theatre at it's best,
For the one who'll never rest.

Back in 1897 a book made history, its creator, Mr Stoker,
Never realized that it could be.
He makes a blood thirsty Prince into a blood thirsty Count,
And then created upon film a whole new century.
The crashing waves at Whitby...
