Riding the northwind
From distant places once known
Floating through the air
One with the midnight sky
The Devil's breath
From the lungs of hell
An eternal dark horizon
Is close at hand

Inbetween the trees
There's a body covered in snow
A vague memory
From a distant path

The pain that I have felt,
The hunger I have known
No longer comes tomy mind
The struggles I have fought,
The losses for which
I have died a thousand times
No longer haunts me

This forest never sleeps

The storms sweep throughout the land
Leaving nothing but hunger and death
As the eternal fog encloses this world
The graves are calling

I am the spirits inbetween the trees
I am the eternal silence
..As you look to the sky:
I am the night making you blind,
Forcing you to see

Riding the northwind
With the strength of a disease
The shadows are covering
The ground underneath
Choking all remaining
Signs of vitality

The plague is upon us
And I am the only way out
I am the key to the gates
