Tekst piosenki:
All the things that we've lost
Breaking up comes at a cost
I know I'll miss this mistake
Every word I try to choose
Either way I'm gonna lose
Can't take the ache from heartbreak
Ohh but as you walk away, you don't hear me say
Where's the good in goodbye?
Where's the nice in nice try?
Where's the us in trust gone?
Where's the soul in soldier on?
No w I'm the low in lonely
'Cause I don't own you only
I can take this mistake but
I can't take the ache from heartbreak
No, I can't take the ache from heartbreak
No matter how it falls apart
There's an art in breaking hearts
But there's no fair in farewell, no
And when I see you in the street
I pray to God you don't see
The silent hell in I wish you well
Ohh but as you walk away, you don't hear me say
Where's the good in goodbye?
Where's the nice in nice try?
Where's the us in trust gone?
Where's the soul in soldier on?
No w I'm the low in lonely
'Cause I don't own you only
I can take this mistake but
I can't take the ache from heartbreak
(Take the ache, take the ache) I can't take the ache from heartbreak
If I could, turn back time
Then I would, rewrite those lines
If I could, turn back time
I would, rewrite those lines
Where's the good in goodbye?
Where's the nice in nice try?
Where's the us in trust gone?
Where's the soul in soldier on?
No w I'm the low in lonely
'Cause I don't own you only
I can take this mistake but
I can't take the ache from heartbreak
(Take the ache, take the ache) I can't take the ache from heartbreak
If I could, turn back time
Then I would, rewrite those lines

Where's the GOOD in GOOD bye - to chyba logiczne i kompletnie nie do przetlumaczenia ;)
Where's the NICE in NICE try - 'nice try' mowimy do kogos, komu sie nie powiodlo, choc probowal. Nice to slowo, ktore ma pozytywna konotacje, a uzyte jest w negatywnym kontekscie, stad autor pyta, gdzie w tym 'Nice try' jest to cale Nice ;)
Where's the US in trUSt gone - US (polska wymowa AS), czyli MY (ja i ty), trUSt (w ponglisz wymawiane jako trASt), czyli zaufanie. Autor pyta gdzie jest slowo MY w slowie ZAUFANIE - mozna rozumiec, ze miedzy autorem a osoba, o ktorej spiewa, nie ma juz zaufania.
Where's the SOUL in SOLdier on - tu chodzi o podobnie brzmiace w wymowie slowo SOUL (dusza) i SOLdier (zolnierz), autor pyta gdzie jest ta dusza w slowie zolnierz, bardziej w przenosni niz doslownie ;)
Now I'm the LOW in LOnely - Low (loł - zdolowany), Lonely (lołnly) - teraz jestem LOŁ w slowie LOŁNLY czyli jakby tak juz na sile przetlumaczyc, to 'teraz jestem SAM w SAMotny'
Cause I don't OWN you ONly - i znow OWN (OŁN - posiadac) i ONly (OŁNLY) - posiadac i wylacznosc wymawia sie tak samo, tyle ze drugie slowo z dodatkiem LY ;)
I can TAKE this misTAKE - tu sprawa jasna, bo nawet pisze sie tak samo ;)
