I wake up in the sand
I draw in a breath
The trickle of liquid around
The salty air fills my lungs
The bitter chill claws at me
Nature's hand on my neck
And what if I could see afar?
Would they listen and hear?


There is no world outside nature eternal

I stride the beaches in a daze
I have drawn in the sand
The images they come to me
The sea a tonic for my dreams
The wind is nature's whispered words
The mother's touch on my mind
And what if there would be an end?

I climb the hills in such haste
I try to find the strength to move
My skin is so dry from the wind
I spy a herd of beasts afar
Sheltered from the blasts of salty air
The words ringing in my ears
Now I know that there will be an end?
