Forever Autumn - Teardrops in the Rain

in a land so forlorn
my teardrops do stain
the sorrow'd ones danse
in the unending rain
they sing of the days
that my eyes strain to see
of tymes before winter
didn't hurt to be me
...
the words that they speak
like the echoes of doubt
as i join in their song
i shudder throughout
embraced by their hands
so cold, frosted grey
to match my pale skin
since the sun went away
...
three days i had died
no tyme for goodbyes
i wæs thrust to this dark
where i now reside
the sorrow'd ones sway
to their tune of respite
a danse so macabre
for the oncoming nyght
