The storm cloud still floats over me
And it's gotten so dark I cannot see
It all seems so damn pointless
There must be more to life than this
I had my dreams that seemed so real
My useless dreams that I could not feel
God knows I wanted to stay
I never planned to walk away
But every day the same old thing
Nothing left to gain but pain
We closed the door on yesterday
And memories are all that stayed
There are no words that I can say

But talk is cheep
And anyone can learn to speak
But it is more than words
There are those things that cant be heard
Like those times we were together
Like those times when things were better
When it was you and me
When it was meant to be
But it will never be the same
Unless I have you hear again
It all seems so damn pointless
There must be more to life then this
And I tried so hard not to care
But I still don't know where to go if your not there
So I still am waiting for that day when some kind of wonderful will come my way
