Empyrean Sanctum - Through the Tempest's Wrath

The open sea awaits me as I breathe in the reality
A new hope for my journey in the search for my true destiny
With the aid of the Mariner I sail the wicked seas
For many days and many nights we’ve travelled fearlessly

At the end of each day I close my eyes
I dream of a sacred place that lies beyond the skies
It draws me inside, I don’t know why
The force of the temple, I can’t deny

The sound of the sea is soothing to my ears
My hair in the breeze, my worries disappear
I fear not the night for the stars are my guide
My course set for glory with the Mariner by my side

I will not fear the tempest's wrath

The storm approaches near, I feel the tempest’s wrath
It tosses the ship aside, how long will this last?
I search for the Mariner but he’s nowhere in sight
Has he fallen victim to the tempest’s might?

The sound of the storm is painful to my ears
My ship torn apart, my worries reappear
I fear now the night, for the stars they now hide
My course set for failure, for the Mariner I cry

I'm beaten by the tempest's wrath

The Mariner's gone forever
Will I reach the temple beyond the skies?
I have to make this journey on my own
Have I let grandfather down?
