Are you afraid, to open your eyes
Dispose of self importance
Fear not your demise

For the inversion, of creation
Is just waiting to open your eyes

I walk alone, in a place that I don't understand
Heeding the unknown
Calling our to this cold empty sky
I yearn enlightenment tonight

Once again I'm looking for some kind of guide
To lead me through an endless maze
Direction eludes, confusion consumes
Feed me eternal opiates
Lay this mind to rest

Now I have seen, that the ground that i walk upon will not hold me
I now arise never to fear the end, nor to fear this life

Spitting out the lies, that from birth has been force-fed
Unto unknowing minds, corruption at it's best
Embrace the ignorance

When searching for enlightenment, you may find yourself lost
When yearning for some meaning in this long forgotten plot
Am I just destined to rot?
